The More You Know

I don’t mean to rain on anyone’s parade here but for those who are considering becoming parents, you should probably be made to understand that it involves a lot of sacrifice. Sure, everyone knows about the sleepless nights, the financial sacrifice, the diaper changing, and other things. But they might not think about how much becoming a parent changes your perspective at Valentine’s Day.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a guy, I really don’t care about Valentine’s day. But, I just thought some should know. Think of it as just another wonderful Public Service Announcement from the blog to you!
So, if you haven’t gathered by now, our valentine’s consisted of hanging out with the kids. Zoey came down to visit Dodi and Papa and Delton was excited to see her. It was a good Valentine’s date by my standards but if you are accustomed to fine linen tablecloths, soft music and haute cuisine, you might be disappointed in how parenting changes your V -Day dates. Our “date” consisted of rubber place mats, loud noises from two babies, and finger foods. It’s a little bit different. But I’m not complaining. I just wanted you to know!
I can’t think of nothing wrong with finger foods.
Bigger and cuter every time I see them.
