Danny Boy’s Big Adventure

You get two choices for theme music this week. You can be all up in the Danny Boy theme

Or you can alternately choose this, which isn’t Danny Boy but is still Boston people approved.

Why is it so Danny-centric off in here you ask?

You see…while walking our dogs the other night, we were greeted by a new and unexpected visitor named Danny Boy.  He looked like a Golden Retriever but lacked one thing. The body of a golden retriever. He had stubby little legs and was very friendly.

So, naturally, he and The Boy became best friends in about 30 seconds. Some quotes:

“Look! He likes me AND our dogs!”

“He just keeps following us!!”

“I guess he’ll just have to come home with us.”

And since you’re probably about to ask, “How did you know his name was Danny Boy?”, I’ll tell you. He had his name and a phone number written on his collar. So, we did what ALL good citizens do and called the owner who came to pick him up very quickly.

It was a lot of fun for us and I bet Danny Boy has been sitting inside all day thinking about how awesome it was running around the neighborhood yesterday with his new friends. Because dogs can talk you know.
