I spent a little more time than usual for a weekday with The Boy today. I picked him up from school, took him to get a haircut, ran an errand, walked the dogs and finally bath time and put him to bed. Here are my four favorite stories he told me tonight, in no particular order.

1) umm, umm, umm, umm, umm, umm, bats live in trees.

2) I want God to come to our house and make a miracle. He could bring 100 jars and fill it with water and then make it into wine. It would be like his first miracle.

(I just read him that story from The Beginner Bible. I just think it’s funny how his mind works)

3) Grown ups don’t eat poop, only dogs.

4) Well, I saw a koala bear once. It was at Hagan’s house by that ocean and I was wearing my special green lantern glasses. (Me: Koalas don’t live in the ocean) But this was different, this was a Sea Koala.

He may end up a storyteller one day.
